Job Summary

Operate manual and CNC machining equipment to fabricate and modify intricate, precise parts for complex lithography-related machines. Develop manufacturing plans from engineering drawings, set up and run machine tools to specifications, and perform inspections to meet quality standards. Maintain a safe, clean tool-room environment, support projects and production operations, and collaborate with the Integration, Quality, Reliability, and Test and Model Shop teams on-site in Wilton, CT.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate manual machine tools, CNC and other machining equipment safely and efficiently for fabricating and modifying parts.
•Read, understand, and develop manufacturing plans from engineering drawings.
•Maintain a clean and organized shop and follow safety guidelines.
•Utilize machining tools and equipment (including milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and grinders) to produce parts to specifications.
•Inspect parts to confirm they meet quality standards and support production and project work.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or GED equivalent) with at least 10 years of experience in a relevant multi-disciplinary technical work environment.
•At least 10 years using machine shop equipment including manual and CNC milling machines, manual and CNC lathes, drill presses, and surface grinders.
•Proficiency in planning, setup, and operation of machine tools based on work orders, drawings, and machining instructions.
•Ability to machine intricate and precise parts from materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic, working to close tolerances (+/- .01mm).
•Proficiency in computer aided machining with minimum 3 years’ experience, including conducting inspections to confirm quality standards.
