Job Summary

Design and integrate communication-system circuits and hardware within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Own circuit design lifecycle work—from requirements and schematic capture to analysis, board stack-up and routing instructions, test plan creation, and root-cause analysis. Develop engineering and production test systems, including test interfaces, cabling, schematics, and technical drawings, while contributing to project technical, cost, and schedule goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform circuit design lifecycle activities including requirements capture, schematic capture, documentation, analysis (Performance, Stability, ESD/Lightning, Decoupling, Signal/Power Integrity), board stack-up/routing instructions, and review of PCB layout.
•Design, develop, and integrate communication-system products and test solutions with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
•Develop engineering and production test systems including test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, circuit designs, and analysis.
•Contribute to communication system and test system development across stages, assisting with technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
•Collaborate to develop proven hardware designs that meet system performance and operational specifications.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
•Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
•U.S. citizenship is required for authorization under the program/contract.
•Proven experience in electronic circuit and hardware development, including digital electronics, schematic capture, hardware integration, and troubleshooting circuit card assemblies.
•Proficiency with engineering tools and test equipment (logic analyzers, RF test equipment, oscilloscopes, and ECAD/PCB tools).
