Job Summary

Build and operate WarpStream, an Apache Kafka-compatible streaming platform running directly on object storage with zero local disks. As a Senior Engineer on a small fully-remote team, you’ll deliver backend services end to end—from storage engine work in Agents to improving multi-tenant control plane scalability and shipping features like transactions and active-active multi-region clusters. Debug distributed systems across microservices, containers, and virtualization, while ensuring SLA-driven operational readiness.

•Work across the full stack, including storage engine work and developer-console UI improvements.
