Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the ongoing strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of the vulnerability management program and other application security programs.
  • •Own and drive down MTTR across the vulnerability backlog as SLAs tighten.
  • •Build and champion automation and tooling to scale vulnerability detection and response across cloud, firmware/IoT, and corporate systems.
  • •Set technical and architectural direction for the program and translate strategic priorities into an execution plan.
  • •Mentor engineers, communicate risk and remediation tradeoffs to leadership, and participate in security incident investigations and on-call response.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant cloud or security engineering experience with hands-on vulnerability management across broad, multi-product enterprise environments.
  • •Proficiency in Go, Python, and JavaScript.
  • •Ability to independently set technical and architectural direction for a security program and drive remediation across a multi-surface environment without direct authority.
  • •Strong experience with modern vulnerability management tooling (e.g., Wiz, Semgrep) and vulnerability scoring frameworks such as CVSS and EPSS.
  • •Deep knowledge of SAST, DAST, and SCA, plus hands-on use of AI/LLM tooling in security workflows (triage, detection logic, remediation drafting).
