Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and maintain internal tooling, packages, and abstractions to improve developer experience and reduce infrastructure complexity and operational toil.
  • •Build, operate, and continuously improve reliable automated CI/CD pipelines to help engineers ship safely, frequently, and confidently.
  • •Operate and improve Oyster’s AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with a focus on scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • •Apply SRE principles, observability, and incident-management practices to reduce outages, accelerate recovery, and prevent recurring operational work.
  • •Identify practical AI and automation opportunities to improve developer productivity, automate operational workflows, and reduce engineering toil.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar production engineering role.
  • •Strong software development experience building maintainable automation, tooling, and platform abstractions.
  • •Proven experience designing and operating production systems on AWS.
  • •Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform or an equivalent technology.
  • •Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
