Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering retail banking products and ongoing service.
  • •Analyze client financial needs using personal financial planning concepts and work with the financial advisor on investment accounts to meet objectives and policies.
  • •Monitor economic, legal, and investment trends and serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and managing sales activity and pipeline in the bank’s contact management system.
  • •Coordinate with IRM partners and external centers of influence to ensure integrated client servicing, development, and compliance with audit and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services client experience in banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year as a financial client relationship manager).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit/bank products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Active SIE, FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu), plus applicable Life/Health/Variable insurance licenses; obtain/transfer required registrations within specified timelines.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • •Strong written, verbal and presentation skills including demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.
