Job Summary

Join the Cybercrime Research team to research and monitor major LATAM cyber threats by analyzing IOCs, TTPs, and threat actor behavior across the dark web and open sources. You will craft and maintain detection opportunities in the Threat Intelligence platform, produce context-rich alerts for customers, and use MITRE ATT&CK to map observed activity to TTPs. You’ll also develop mitigation strategies and contribute to the regional Threat Landscape.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze IOCs and TTPs of threat actors in the LATAM Threat Landscape, including threats such as banking trojans and remote access trojans.
•Craft, maintain, and document detection opportunities within the Threat Intelligence platform.
•Manage threat actor information related to TTPs and Opsec, performing correlation and research to generate context-rich customer alerts.
•Conduct ongoing research into current threats and industry trends for the LATAM Threat Landscape.
•Use MITRE ATT&CK to align observed activity to Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and develop mitigation and countermeasure strategies.

•Passion for investigating cybercrime and actively mitigating its impact.
•Knowledge of the LATAM threat landscape and global/local cyber threats (ransomware, initial access broker, banking trojan, remote access trojan, fraudsters).

•Deep understanding of the dark web ecosystem and underground community communication methods.
•Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) and experience working with sources including Virustotal, Urlscan, Shodan, and RiskIQ (or similar).
