Job Summary

Manage heritage and cultural resources across the Texas/Louisiana/Oklahoma region, delivering compliance-focused cultural resource services. You’ll use maps, aerial imagery, GPS tools, and technical methods to support site investigations and determine impacts and sensitivities. Spend most of your time on report writing, research, data entry, and impact assessments for projects such as CEQA/NEPA, while also providing field support and coordinating with cross-functional teams and agencies.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage heritage and cultural resources and preserve histories for the future.
•Deliver quality cultural resource compliance for clients.
•Use maps, aerial photographs, GPS units, and related tools to determine project-area locations, site impact, and sensitivities.
•Prepare cultural resources survey reports, conduct data entry, and perform impact assessments for assigned projects (e.g., CEQA/NEPA).
•Comply with regulatory requirements for documentation, procedures, monitoring, reporting, and record retention; provide input on risk identification and threat mitigation.

Key Requirements

•Master’s Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, historic preservation, or a related field.
•5+ years of relevant post-education experience in Section 106/110 compliance.
•Experience in CRM archaeology, preferably in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, or Arkansas.
•Qualify as a Principal Investigator on state and federal permits in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
•Excellent technical writing experience contributing to cultural resource reports and environmental permit applications.
