Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and deliver technical solutions for water infrastructure and capital projects, producing and/or checking detailed EICA engineering deliverables.
  • •Prepare and review EICA package deliverables including technical specifications, calculations, reports, datasheets, schedules, control philosophies, user requirement specifications, and associated documentation.
  • •Review and execute tender evaluations; participate in proposals and scoping, identifying key tasks, packages, and developing resourcing/time estimates.
  • •Support installation requirements relating to DSEAR and EICA equipment in explosive atmospheres; manage inspection, testing, setting to work, and commissioning stages for ICA equipment and installations.
  • •Attend factory acceptance tests (panel, PLC/HMI application software and SCADA) and coach/mentor junior ICA-discipline staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified (IET accredited) in electrical or control engineering, or a minimum electrical/control HND with substantial experience.
  • •Professional registration with the Engineering Council as a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
  • •Extensive EICA engineering design experience for water infrastructure, including technical specifications, calculations, reports, datasheets, schedules, control philosophies, and user requirement specs.
  • •Knowledge of DSEAR, electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres, and CDM regulations for installations.
  • •Strong client-facing skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively, including travel for site surveys, inspections, and testing.
