Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Foreperson with daily production duties at various locations using the portable plant.
  • •Safely operate heavy equipment and perform general maintenance on equipment.
  • •Assist with miscellaneous plant duties including general labor, shoveling, equipment maintenance, and assisting crew as needed.
  • •Maintain daily plant operations and upkeep, including cleaning around the plant, equipment, and surrounding area.
  • •Follow OSHA & MSHA regulations and comply with safety requirements and procedures in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or 1–3 months related experience/training, or equivalent).
  • •Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (e.g., haul truck, water truck, dump truck, track hoe, front-end loader, skid steer).
  • •Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
  • •Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Willingness to travel/work away from home when required and work nights/weekends as necessary.
