Job Summary

Shape water systems and resilient communities across British Columbia and the Yukon by delivering hydrotechnical designs and hydraulic analyses. You’ll develop proposals, technical reports, and client presentations, and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams from concept through completion. Serve as a key liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, and approval authorities, while helping expand regional water resources engineering services and mentoring junior professionals.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop hydrotechnical designs that support safe, climate-resilient infrastructure across Western Canada.
•Prepare high-quality proposals, technical reports, design briefs, and client presentations to support business development and project wins.
•Manage multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate engineering, permitting, construction, and financial deliverables from concept to completion.
•Act as a primary liaison with clients, stakeholders, approval authorities, and regulatory bodies.
•Mentor junior professionals and support a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across project teams.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering with a focus on hydrology and open channel hydraulics.
•5+ years of hydrotechnical engineering experience in a consulting environment, including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.
•Professional registration in the province/territory of practice, or eligibility to obtain registration in BC within six months.
•Demonstrated technical proficiency in hydrotechnical engineering with a commitment to ongoing development.
•Proven experience as a project manager in a client-facing role, including strong ability to write proposals and technical reports.
