Job Summary

Develop and execute strategy for Property & Liability risks in the Italian market, and serve as the contact for selected agents within the Mid-Corporate team. Ensure compliance with underwriting authority, pricing, and rating guidelines, steer the local portfolio to achieve financial targets, and review end-to-end underwriting performance. Partner with Sales, Claims, and product lines to drive marketing strategies and cross-selling while supporting underwriting discipline, governance adherence, and product development.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute strategy for Property & Liability risks into the Italian market and support Allianz Mid Corporate targets.
•Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing, and rating guidelines while maintaining underwriting consistency and discipline under corporate guidelines and local regulatory framework.
•Steer and control the portfolio locally to drive achievement of financial targets.
•Proactively liaise with functional areas to review performance across the end-to-end underwriting life cycle.
•Support business development by partnering with Sales, Claims, and other product lines to achieve marketing strategies including cross-selling and agent/broker negotiations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 50,000 - 65,000

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Law.
•9–15 years of proven experience underwriting profitable Property (including PD/BI and Theft) and Theft and Liability business for corporate clients.
•Preference for experience with multinational clients.
•Proven leadership skills.
•Expertise in risk assessment with a strong understanding of the policy administration life cycle.
