Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and coordinate a regional transportation drainage team across Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, and Utah.
  • •Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and direction to drainage managers, lead engineers, engineers, and technicians.
  • •Oversee drainage system design and analysis for highways, roadways, bridges, and other transportation infrastructure projects.
  • •Manage drainage discipline budgets, schedules, staffing, workload, and resources, including coordinating workshare between offices and projects.
  • •Ensure technical oversight and quality control for hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, drainage studies, reports, and design deliverables; represent the company in client meetings and presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency) with 2 years of leadership.
  • •Registered Professional Engineer in one of the Rocky Mountain States and ability to obtain other State Registrations as needed.
  • •Experience managing transportation drainage design including budgets, client management, design delivery, staffing coordination, and schedule maintenance.
  • •Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software including HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS, plus StormCAD and Storm and Sanitary.
  • •Experience designing highway/roadway systems and producing plan sets using Civil 3D and related design software.
