Key Responsibilities

  • •Run fast, low-cost tests across direct channels (paid search, paid social, organic, and direct response), prioritizing what works and shutting down what doesn’t.
  • •Own budget allocation decisions and write/test copy across ads and landing pages, iterating based on responses from real business owners.
  • •Test offline and digital outreach (mail and email direct response) to reach owners who aren’t actively searching.
  • •Prove unit economics by establishing true seller mandate acquisition costs per channel and defining lead value before conversion.
  • •Build attribution and measurement: set up tracking/attribution, produce reporting, improve website conversion messaging, and question misleading results.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years in acquisition, growth, or generalist marketing in a startup/scale-up/new venture environment where you worked out what to do.
  • •M&A, marketplace, or two-sided experience—especially where supply (not demand) was constrained.
  • •Comfort managing a long, low-frequency, high-value conversion cycle using thin, noisy data.
  • •Numerate and data-literate: build measurement before campaigns, read funnels, and own the numbers you report.
