Perform quality assurance tests, monitor and remove defects, comply with 5S and WCM initiatives, and handle tasks assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead operation of rewind/slitter lines including change-overs, machine start-up, running, and shut-down.
•Adjust machine specifications, pressures, and equipment for each job.
•Ensure accurate and complete completion of all required paperwork.
•Perform standard quality assurance tests and remove flagged/unflagged defects while understanding product safety responsibilities.
•Comply with 5S and WCM initiatives and train/direct the rewind assistant as needed.

Key Requirements

•Previous manufacturing experience.
•Ability to understand and use a computer and programs.
•Adequate math, measurement, and reading skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
