Job Summary

Perform ASTM tests on aggregates, asphalt, raw materials, and concrete to verify product quality and conformance to specifications. Conduct aggregate sieve analysis, draft reports, maintain and calibrate testing equipment, and coordinate concrete mix design adjustments during production. Provide professional customer service by answering questions and handling complaints, while following safety procedures and working regular and irregular hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow safety rules and promptly report unsafe practices and conditions.
•Perform required ASTM tests on aggregates and asphalt and ensure product conformance to specifications.
•Perform aggregate sieve analysis and draft reports to maintain compliance.
•Maintain testing equipment in good operational condition and ensure proper calibration.
•Coordinate concrete mix design adjustments during production and provide timely, professional customer service.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Two years of experience with construction quality control testing preferred.
•Experience in a building materials/construction industry preferred.
•Preferred certifications include NMDOT Aggregates and Asphalt certifications, and CDOT CAPA A, B, C.
•Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
