Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain an org-wide picture of Shopping work, including what teams are shipping now, what is planned, and technical/business dependencies.
  • •Use enterprise understanding to line up platform support, tools, access, and approvals before they become blockers.
  • •Prepare and present Shopping progress and goals to Capital One senior leadership to secure decisions and investment.
  • •Navigate enterprise governance (security, risk, compliance, procurement, platform standards) on Shopping's behalf and broker collaboration with central platform/infrastructure teams.
  • •Represent engineering architecture and technical choices directly to enterprise partners and drive dependency orchestration on major cross-cutting initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 269,100 - 307,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
  • •At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
  • •Experience with enterprise architecture and design patterns.
  • •Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and data architecture.
  • •Ability to code professionally in commonly used languages and develop systems across the full lifecycle (conception through production support).
Education:Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
