Job Summary

Analyze clinical specimens and operate laboratory equipment reliably while following standard methods and GLP practices. Verify specimen identity, perform and document testing, maintain proficiency in current lab methods, and meet performance metrics. Provide oversight of daily lab operations, troubleshoot equipment and analytical errors per SOP, and support quality initiatives including QC and continuous improvement. Ensure regulatory compliance through accurate documentation and assist/training for other lab personnel.

•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lab methods and associated training deadlines.
•Provide general oversight of personnel and daily lab operations, including guidance to others.
•Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and common analytical/processing errors according to SOP; escalate issues and protocol deviations.
•Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through proper documentation, QC procedures (if applicable), and maintaining equipment/inventory records.

Key Requirements

•BS/BA degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.

•Experience in molecular biology is preferred.
•Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, including word processing and data management.
