Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a revenue recognition subject matter expert ensuring revenue and revenue-adjacent reporting remains compliant with ASC 606, ASC 310, and ASC 326.
  • •Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and disclosure preparation.
  • •Maintain accurate revenue schedules and workpapers, ensuring completeness for revenue accounting needs.
  • •Reconcile data across systems/sources, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with data and engineering to determine root causes and solutions.
  • •Lead revenue accounting matters for new products and feature updates, including documentation required for audit requests and support for sales tax calculations/filings.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in revenue accounting, ideally with a mix of industry and public accounting experience.
  • •Experience applying revenue recognition principles in a late-stage or public fintech, lending, financial services, or high-transaction-volume e-commerce/marketplace/internet company.
  • •CPA designation is strongly desired.
  • •Experience with ETL/data transformation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Metabase, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • •Strong attention to detail, analytical/problem-solving skills, and clear written and oral communication.
