Key Responsibilities

  • •Define structural and electrical specifications for one or more BEOL modules and integrate them across the process with unit process and other module owners.
  • •Design, execute, and analyze experiments to satisfy engineering specifications using structure–electrical correlations, electrical characteristics, inline indicators, and design rules.
  • •Develop, maintain, and improve process modules (including alternative flows) including design rules, structural specifications, and electrical specifications.
  • •Optimize existing process flows by developing creative solutions that meet product requirements and validate technical development direction over the next 5+ years.
  • •Extract, monitor, and analyze inline, defect, parameter, and probe data to drive yield issue resolution, improve performance and reliability, expand process margin, and reduce cost.

Key Requirements

  • •M.S. or Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or Materials Science) or B.S. plus 5+ years of industry experience.
  • •Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and electrical property characterization.
  • •Knowledge of materials science and semiconductor process fundamentals.
  • •Data analysis skills using JMP, Python, or other data analysis/data engineering software.
  • •English communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, and written).
