Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues by pulling data across hundreds of makes/models and determining root cause and corrective actions.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment; troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete, timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools, including experience repairing and maintaining power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Experience with calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and reading/understanding schematics.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
