Own the platform and shared services that power Alaan’s spend management ecosystem, including identity and access management, permissions, authentication, and user management. Define the platform strategy and roadmap, deliver shared APIs/workflows/infrastructure, and improve reliability, scalability, and operational readiness. Partner across engineering, design, security, compliance, data, and operations to build secure, compliant systems and use platform metrics to drive long-term optimization.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and own the platform strategy and roadmap for core platform capabilities that support business objectives and growth.
•Design and evolve authentication, authorization, permissions, roles, and user management frameworks balancing security, flexibility, and usability.
•Drive development of shared platform services, internal platforms, APIs, workflows, and infrastructure capabilities enabling other product teams.
•Identify bottlenecks, architectural limitations, and operational risks, and work with engineering to build scalable and resilient systems.
•Collaborate with security, risk, compliance, and cross-functional teams to ensure platform capabilities meet regulatory and industry best practices; use success metrics to guide improvements.

•4+ years of relevant experience in platform, infrastructure, enterprise software, SaaS/fintech, identity/security, or other technically complex product environments.
•Experience solving ambiguous, cross-functional problems and building foundational systems used across multiple products, teams, or workflows.
•Strong systems thinking with awareness of dependencies and downstream impact across an ecosystem.
•Comfort discussing architecture, APIs, identity models, permissions frameworks, and technical trade-offs with engineering teams.
•Data-driven decision making: validate assumptions, evaluate platform performance, and translate insights into prioritized investments.
