Job Summary

Lead Huntington’s private equity asset-based lending growth by sourcing, structuring, and closing sponsor-owned deals. Drive market penetration as a team lead and serve as a key contact for Sponsor Coverage and Capital Markets partners. Manage underwriting preparation, credit approvals, and documentation negotiation in collaboration with internal credit, relationship, and portfolio teams. Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders to deliver disciplined execution and an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Source and close private equity owned asset-based loans and execute the private equity ABL growth strategy.
•Develop and manage relationships with internal Sponsor Coverage/Capital Markets partners and directly with private equity sponsors and intermediaries.
•Lead business origination activities including prospecting, deal sourcing, and execution of calling and marketing initiatives.
•Manage underwriting preparation and coordinate the credit approval process, including participation in credit committees.
•Partner with internal teams to negotiate documentation, ensure conditions precedent are met, and balance sponsor objectives with Huntington credit standards.

Salary: USD 93,000 - 217,000 annually

•Strong negotiation and communication skills, including executive-level presentation ability.
