Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaboratively design and build distributed machinery that unifies independent query-processing and storage nodes into a single database system.
  • •Develop data-movement and dynamic-scaling features that run on top of the distributed infrastructure.
  • •Solve complex performance problems and design protocols for moving and placing data without disruption.
  • •Deliver seamless horizontal scaling with minimal tradeoffs, improving cluster elasticity and workload execution.
  • •In the first six months, lead development of a new feature and help mentor new engineers on the team.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience building distributed systems.
  • •Experience building production-level code with a large user base in C++ with strong code quality.
