Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely set up, inspect, and operate processing equipment/machinery used in meat product processing.
  • •Follow standard operating procedures, including completing production-related paperwork.
  • •Operate production line equipment (including meat cutting/packaging machines) to process meat products for consumers.
  • •Maintain a safe and efficient production line and help meet safety, quality, and teamwork standards.
  • •Work scheduled shifts and be able to work overtime when required by production demands.

Key Requirements

  • •Be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • •Set up and operate equipment/machinery and work with computerized equipment used in production.
  • •Perform physically demanding work including standing up to a 12-hour shift and working in cold/warm and wet environments.
  • •Wear required PPE and work safely in noisy environments and around sanitation/cleaning chemicals and animal blood/carcass parts.
