Key Responsibilities

  • •Attend births and provide doula support for pregnancy and postpartum care.
  • •Participate in Loula’s referral and doula matching program to connect with insured clients.
  • •Work as an independent contractor in Loula’s non-exclusive network while maintaining your own practice.
  • •Deliver care while Loula manages insurance verification, billing, and payment administration.
  • •Decide how many clients and visits to take on, with no client minimums or visit requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Complete 16 hours of birth doula training and attended 3 births as a doula, or have 5 years of experience as a doula with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •Be located in California and meet the minimum qualifications to move forward with an introductory meeting.
