Key Responsibilities

  • •Consult with Operating Entities to implement and configure core platform components across Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric from deployment through production.
  • •Build batch and streaming data integration pipelines connecting OE source systems to central platforms, including orchestration.
  • •Configure platform capabilities for high availability, access controls, and end-to-end observability, including governance and data control layers.
  • •Extend the platform offering into AI/GenAI scenarios using Azure AI Foundry for governed model-based use cases.
  • •Develop CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, risk, compliance, architecture, data governance), and coach engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • •5+ years implementing or engineering data and analytics platforms in enterprise environments, ideally in financial services/insurance or another regulated industry.
  • •Significant experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalogue, workflows, and production pipelines.
  • •Practical experience with Azure data services such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
  • •Strong data integration skills (ETL/ELT), orchestration (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Airflow), and production-grade Python and SQL development.
