Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and develop arrangement and detail conceptual, FEED studies, and detail design drawings with clear, construction-ready presentation.
  • •Develop 3D models and ensure clash-free designs across disciplines; organize 3D/2D systems and check designs for interfaces.
  • •Ensure deliverables are completed and issued to project specifications, MDR, procedures, schedules, and budgets; coordinate concerns early and take initiatives to resolve them.
  • •Act as lead designer/technical expert: coordinate discipline execution, lead medium/large design teams, supervise designers, and serve as point of contact in key meetings.
  • •Support project and proposal activities by raising technical queries, reviewing supplier drawings, checking constructability/maintainability/HSE aspects, and supervising engineering of Miscellaneous steel.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma with a specialization in Civil or Structural disciplines (or equivalent experience).
  • •10+ years’ experience with a major contractor or consultant, including 5+ years in oil and gas.
  • •Detailed knowledge of industry detailing standards and codes, plus 3D and 2D drafting and material control systems.
  • •Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and minimum 2 projects working and/or review experience in E3D and/or S3D.
  • •Ability to lead projects and perform engineering of Miscellaneous steel and participate in proposals for CSA design work.
