Key Responsibilities

  • •Own jobsite safety as Priority #1, modeling Black Box’s Accident-Free Everyday culture and supporting incident investigations and RCA/lessons learned.
  • •Develop and implement project plans, installation strategies, and site logistics; manage 5-week lookahead schedules, labor forecasts, and daily progress tracking.
  • •Coordinate with project management and procurement to ensure timely delivery and staging of materials.
  • •Serve as senior SME for data center low voltage, structured cabling, and fiber installations; ensure compliance with ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEBS, and customer specifications.
  • •Manage and mentor large (100+) field technician teams (union or nonunion), including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and technical coaching.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •3–5+ years of supervisory experience on large-scale structured cabling or data center construction projects.
  • •Experience managing large (100+) dispersed field teams.
  • •Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and best-in-class safety practices.
  • •Preferred certifications: OSHA30, BICSI Technician (TECH), and BICSI RCDD (or ability to obtain within 6 months for OSHA30).
