Job Summary

Drive the technical side of the full sales cycle for cybersecurity solutions, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including managing POCs with internal and customer/partner teams. Serve as the primary technical point of contact, translate customer requirements into winning solutions, and present via whiteboarding and technical materials. Maintain deal/technical account data in Salesforce, deliver workshops and training, and deepen product/competitive knowledge while communicating to both technical and executive audiences.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and active participation in POCs with internal and customer/partner teams.
•Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, translating technical requirements into solutions that outperform competitors.
•Position Fortinet solutions by delivering technical presentations and adapting communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Maintain accurate customer/prospect technical activity and contact/account information in Salesforce.
•Deliver hands-on technical workshops and training sessions, and continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products, solutions, and the competitive landscape.

Key Requirements

•Strong aptitude for security technologies such as encryption and authentication, with desirable knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN and WAN.
•Any technical or process-related cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Fortinet certifications, or similar vendor certifications).
•Currently or previously worked in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
•Demonstrated problem-solving skills that have impacted key wins.
•Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
