Job Summary

Designs, implements, and oversees the operating effectiveness of the IT compliance program, leading IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) activities and managing the full IT audit lifecycle. Owns IT SOX compliance via risk assessments, scoping, control mapping, and documentation (RCMs and narratives), assesses ITGCs and ITACs, and coordinates with internal/external auditors. Provides proactive advisory on control design for ERP changes and cloud migrations using GRC tooling to improve audit efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and manage the end-to-end IT SOX compliance program, including annual risk assessments, scoping, control mapping, and documentation (RCMs and process narratives).
•Identify, assess, and test IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs) across in-scope ERP and financial systems.
•Review and refresh the annual SOX scope and drive continuous improvement through control rationalization, automation, and testing approach enhancements.
•Serve as primary IT liaison between IT, internal audit, external auditors, finance, and business stakeholders; coordinate audit walkthroughs and evidence collection.
•Evaluate control gaps against applicable frameworks and support proactive advisory on control design for ERP changes and cloud migrations; maintain audit-ready documentation and monitor regulatory changes.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 4-year / Bachelor’s degree in information technology, management information systems (MIS), computer science, accounting, or a related field.
•Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in IT SOX compliance or IT audit/risk management, with hands-on experience across complex ERP environments.
•Experience assessing and testing IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs) supporting SOX 404 audits.
•Direct experience coordinating with external auditors (including Big 4) and supporting PCAOB-compliant SOX testing programs.
•Working knowledge of IT governance and compliance frameworks (SOX/COSO, COBIT, NIST CSF, and/or ISO 27001) plus GRC/audit management platforms.
