Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide hands-on support for runtime operation of applications to ensure high availability and performance and drive Mean Time to Restore targets.
  • •Participate in incident response and root cause analysis, collaborating with engineering/infrastructure teams to resolve runtime issues, performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and system failures.
  • •Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to proactively identify and address potential runtime issues.
  • •Support software across test, integration, and production environments using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and automate deployments in test or production environments.
  • •Contribute to runtime automation and tooling, streamline operational processes to reduce toil, implement resiliency standards/best practices, and mentor peers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience.
  • •Working understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and containerization technologies, plus experience supporting critical business applications.
  • •Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, incident management best practices, and technology operations work.
  • •Solid programming/scripting skills to automate operational tasks (e.g., Python, Bash), with hands-on experience in at least one OOP language like Java/Python.
  • •Experience with system integration (APIs and data integration) and CI/CD tools and platforms such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
