Job Summary

Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive/repair maintenance on military and commercial generators (3–150kW, 50/60/400Hz) and HVAC systems supporting U.S. Army field operations. Overhaul and sustain equipment, repair AC/DC and electronic control systems, fabricate wire harnesses, and test using a load bank. Provide on-site technical assistance and training to operations and maintenance personnel across generator shop and field environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, diagnose, and service military and commercial generators and HVAC systems.
•Perform maintenance and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW generators, including installation/removal and electrical/control repairs.
•Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, chillers, and environmental control units (including units mounted on trailers/vehicles).
•Maintain commercial power generation equipment, including military-spec generators and UPS systems.
•Operate a load bank during testing and fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma.
•3+ years of related experience, with education/experience alternatives acceptable.
•Extensive diesel generator experience, including generator parallel systems and switch gear.
•Experience with HVAC repair/troubleshooting and brazing copper tubing; knowledge of evacuating and recharging refrigerant.
•Must currently possess (and be able to obtain/maintain) a Secret security clearance.
