Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, studies, and detailed analyses/design in line with design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards.
  • •Lead engineering teams as a Lead Engineer on small projects and act as area lead or deputy lead.
  • •Prepare detailed design calculations/analyses, reports/procedures, and design documentation (layouts, specifications, subcontract documents).
  • •Coordinate and check work of architects and designers, and perform design verification (single discipline and inter-discipline checks).
  • •Assist with bid evaluations and review vendor data; ensure designs meet operational requirements, constructability, and maintainability.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
  • •8-15 years in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant performing detail design.
  • •Preferably a Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society (as applicable).
  • •Strong knowledge of design techniques, analysis methods, and applicable standards codes and guidelines.
  • •Specialization in areas such as topside buildings, living quarters, blast-resistant buildings, and/or related building codes (EC, ACI/AISC/API, GOST).
