Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise the Executive Board Committee and senior management on corporate governance, UAE legal/regulatory requirements, and international standards; support governance capability-building.
  • •Plan and coordinate board and committee calendars, agendas, papers, and meetings; ensure decisions and actions are documented and followed through.
  • •Draft board minutes, resolutions, memoranda, policies, and formal correspondence in English and Classical/Modern Standard Arabic (الفصحى).
  • •Monitor statutory obligations, filings, governance reporting, and secure board records; liaise with ministries, regulators, judicial bodies, and external advisers.
  • •Manage complex board processes, senior stakeholders, competing deadlines, and highly confidential information accurately.

Key Requirements

  • •UAE Nationality and eligibility limited to UAE Nationals.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • •At least eight years of relevant corporate secretarial, governance, or compliance experience, including serving as Corporate Secretary or Board Secretary.
  • •Exceptional drafting proficiency in Classical/Modern Standard Arabic (الفصحى) and strong professional English for board/legal/governance documents.
  • •Strong knowledge of UAE corporate and governance requirements, and experience managing complex board processes and highly confidential information.
