Join Fortinet’s FortiClient QA team as a Senior Software Release QA Specialist. You will execute regression testing, write automation scripts, document defects, and collaborate with developers, QA, and product management to ensure Fortinet products meet high standards before release. You’ll test FortiClient across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms, using manual and automated techniques in a fast-paced security-focused environment.

Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Execute regression testing on FortiClient products using a combination of manual and automated testing; create, maintain, and execute test specifications and test cases.
•Write and maintain automation scripts.
•Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing; work with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed.
•Work closely with Developers, QA, Product Managers, and others to understand new features, use cases, and customer scenarios.
•Document and publish release notes, user guides, reference materials, and use case scenarios for new product releases.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 80,000 - 115,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3 - 5 years of software testing or developing experience.
•Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching; knowledge of firewalls, Linux, Sniff, or Ethereal.
•Working experience on Virtual machine environments, e.g., VMware/ESXi, Hypervisor.
•Experience with programming or scripting skills (Python, Perl, Tcl, Bash, etc.).
•Experience with public cloud infrastructure, such as AWS and Azure.
