Job Summary

Serve as the HS&W (Health, Safety & Wellbeing) subject matter expert across regional construction project portfolios. Provide governance, assurance, and oversight to ensure legal compliance and adherence to industry best practices during planning and execution. Verify contractor capability and resources, conduct audits and site inspections, support incident investigation and corrective actions, and monitor performance through dashboards, metrics, and stakeholder reporting.

Job Function: Construction, Civil & Site Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Act as HS&W subject matter expert supporting regional project portfolios.
•Provide governance and assurance to ensure compliance with legal obligations, project HS&W assurance programs, and industry best practices.
•Verify contractor HS&W resources and performance; ensure contractors implement effective construction phase plans and project HS&W programs.
•Conduct audits, site inspections, and workforce engagement to assess compliance and performance.
•Support incident management: reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking to closure, and statutory reporting.
•Monitor HS&W performance using dashboards and metrics, and communicate safety alerts and lessons learned across the portfolio.
•Participate in regional construction safety networks and forums and collaborate with local site safety leadership teams to align activities with site objectives.
•Support development of HS&W leadership capabilities and competencies to foster safety culture and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or equivalent professional qualification.
•Demonstrated experience managing HS&W within construction project environments.
•Strong working knowledge of Workplace Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
•Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across multiple buildings and interfacing workstreams.
•Experience in construction planning and constructability reviews, including cleanroom and GMP facility construction and execution.
