Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain smooth operation of voice and data networks, including planning, evaluating, coordinating, and performing installation and/or reconfiguration of network hardware and software.
  • •Develop technical expertise in network hardware/software interconnection and interfacing, including switches, routers, firewalls, authentication servers, and encryptors.
  • •Work with network management software platforms to monitor networks and provide regular network analysis and planning for in-house systems.
  • •Ensure appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions and technical diagrams; assist in developing documentation when needed.
  • •Coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment/vendors and be willing to work outside normal business hours as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •University/bachelor’s degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience (or 4 years equivalent) in network or IT systems administration.
  • •Experience supporting networking equipment such as Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and/or intrusion detection systems, including software upgrades.
  • •Active in-scope and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
  • •U.S. citizenship required because eligibility for a security clearance is restricted to U.S. citizens.
