Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as Operational Controller/Control Person under site HV Safety Rules up to 66kV CP3 level and conduct HV switching activities as required.
  • •Support outage planning and prepare switching schedules/reconfigurations for HV operations, coordinating with relevant control centres and teams.
  • •Manage safe, efficient transfer of personnel and equipment by marine vessels, including permits, weather/sea/light access parameters, vessel audits, and emergency response coordination.
  • •Remote-monitor and operate turbine status via SCADA, respond to alarms/issues, and liaise with the asset integrity team for technical support.
  • •Coordinate marine traffic and track vessel/personnel movements using PTS/VTS, report KPIs, and support standard operating procedures and maintenance planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a control room operator performing HV switching operations and managing associated switching schedules.
  • •Relevant authorizations under High Voltage Safety Rules as a Control Person or SAP (or equivalent via the training path).
  • •Knowledge of SCADA systems for wind turbine generators (WTGs) and HV equipment/substation auxiliary equipment.
  • •Experience working with safe systems of work (WTSR, HVSR) and strong health & safety knowledge, ideally in offshore environments.
  • •Project planning experience and strong communications skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
