Job Summary

Lead end-to-end financial accounting for a region/LOB, managing complex accounting events and supporting ledger close with strong accounting insight. Oversee monthly and quarterly GRCA/FINREP/GSIB regulatory and reporting, management information, and manual return compilation and approvals. Prepare IFRS-based balance sheet and profit & loss schedules, analytical review materials, and annual report consolidation. Drive process improvement, documentation and control adherence, and manage delivery against KPI timelines with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and review balance sheet, profit & loss schedules, and consolidated final accounts per IFRS; support annual reports and accounts consolidation.
•Manage monthly and quarterly GRCA/FINREP/GSIB regulatory reporting, management information, and manual returns, including journal review and approvals.
•Develop advanced analytical review and group review schedules (AR/GRS) for quarterly regional submission; perform variance analysis.
•Ensure documentation and controls compliance (RCA and SOX requirements), keep SOPs updated and tested, and support audit, controls and compliance.
•Drive process improvements and transformations (BAU operations and project assignments), including UAT/dry runs for change requests and support transition of new processes.

Key Requirements

•CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA/ICWAI with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
•Prior experience in GRCA/Regulatory Reporting/MI Reporting and manual return compilation, review and approval of journals.
•Strong technical knowledge of accounting and reporting principles, with in-depth experience across balance sheet and income statement heads.
•Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and excellent communication, including explaining complex technical matters simply.
•Experience managing small (5+) teams in specialized functions; very strong Excel and Access skills to interpret high data volume.
