Key Responsibilities

•Engineer data transformations and analysis for local business requirements using the strategic data platform and local data applications.
•Develop batch processing and near real-time/real-time stream processing on-prem or Alibaba Cloud.
•Design low-latency, high-throughput, auto-scaling application architectures.
•Implement end-to-end data services, including assessing operations and non-functional needs.
•Guide developers with continuous integration and automated testing patterns, mentor data engineering talent, and manage end-to-end transformation modules.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or above) in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
•Experience with data engineering technologies and tools, including Python/Scala implementations for enterprise-wide platforms.
•Hands-on experience with batch and streaming data processing, including complex event processing with partitioning for throughput.
•Experience with Alibaba Cloud and its data services (e.g., MaxCompute, DataWorks, Hologres, OSS, ECS).
•Strong knowledge of distributed computing and big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink, Hadoop ecosystem) plus SQL/Java/Python for data manipulation.
