Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • •Support operations across departments with varying conditions (hot/wet and cold/wet) and follow facility expectations for the 1st shift.
  • •Complete computer-based training and enter work into the SAP system as required.
  • •Use required safety procedures and equipment including LOTO, fall protection, ladders, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • •Serve as a member of the Plant Hazmat Team and perform physical job duties (including lifting/pushing/pulling and ladder climbing).

Key Requirements

  • •At least 6 months’ industrial maintenance experience, or be a recent graduate from an accredited industrial maintenance program/school.
  • •Twelve months of continuous employment with a single employer within the last 36 months, or completion of verifiable formal schooling in a specific trade.
  • •Extensive fabrication and mechanical experience.
  • •Willingness to work overtime and weekends and to meet the physical requirements (standing ~8.5 hours on concrete; lifting/pushing/pulling over 40 lbs.; climbing ladders above 10 feet).
  • •Ability to complete computer-based training and enter work into SAP, and be prepared to use LOTO, fall protection, ladders, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
