Key Responsibilities

  • •Solve challenging cloud infrastructure and application security problems using Datadog’s core building blocks and golden paths.
  • •Enable engineers to build and ship secure solutions quickly by supporting and extending Platform Security solutions.
  • •Build and extend Datadog’s Platform Security solutions and influence their direction based on security learnings.
  • •Secure authentication flows, authorization patterns, and input validation at API boundaries.
  • •Support secure deployment and management mechanisms for software and infrastructure changes in a Kubernetes environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • •Implement security solutions to address systemic issues, not just provide security recommendations.
  • •Proven experience securing enterprise SaaS applications, including authentication flows, authorization patterns, and API boundary input validation.
  • •Demonstrated experience securing deployment and management mechanisms for software and infrastructure changes.
  • •Hands-on software engineering experience with code review, including Go, Python, or Rust.
