Key Responsibilities

  • •Own high-impact initiatives as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI), overseeing project health, system design, and end-to-end delivery.
  • •Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to clarify ambiguous requirements and map business goals to technical scopes, managing dependencies.
  • •Lead architectural design, task breakdown, and execution planning to drive incremental delivery across engineering teams.
  • •Establish reusable patterns, technical standards, and platform primitives for other teams to build on.
  • •Mentor engineers to raise decision quality and ensure consistent execution across the team.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed production systems.
  • •Strong backend engineering experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Pyramid, or Django.
  • •Experience leading technical design for complex systems, including making architecture decisions, evaluating tradeoffs, and guiding implementation across multiple engineers or teams.
  • •Experience with relational/noSQL databases, including schema design, performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling.
  • •Experience building and operating cloud-native systems using technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
