Key Responsibilities

  • •Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit
  • •Responsible for clinical duties issuing medication, reviewing care plans and accurate record keeping
  • •Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers
  • •Training and supervision of new staff members
  • •Building relationships with residents, families and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses

  • •NVQ3 in care (completed / working towards) with support for qualification if needed
