Key Responsibilities

  • •Support multiple client engagements across the transaction lifecycle, including acquisitions, divestitures, and post-acquisition value creation.
  • •Partner with engagement teams to define business questions, data requirements, and analytical approaches.
  • •Extract, clean, combine, validate, and analyze financial, customer, sales, pricing, profitability, and operational datasets using Python, SQL, Alteryx, and Excel.
  • •Develop models and dashboards to evaluate business performance, identify transaction risks/opportunities, and communicate executive recommendations.
  • •Manage day-to-day client interactions and workstreams, mentor junior team members, and help ensure deliverables and targeted utilization are met.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related business discipline (or a quantitative degree with relevant experience).
  • •4+ years of data analytics experience in transaction advisory, M&A advisory, or similar professional services.
  • •Strong proficiency in Python and Alteryx for data cleaning, structuring, analysis, and modeling of large datasets.
  • •Proficiency with SQL, relational databases, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • •Experience analyzing customer, sales, pricing, profitability, forecasting, and location analytics in an M&A/private equity context.
