Job Summary

Deliver technical client services for Broadcom’s MAINFRAME solutions, partnering with sales and customer/partners to qualify opportunities, understand requirements, and architect fit-for-purpose solutions. Lead presentations, demonstrations, installations, configurations, deployments, and proofs of concept, including complex product integrations and trials/POCs. Maintain deep product expertise, produce technical specifications and SOW input, and collaborate in virtual teams to drive measurable financial and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Technically qualify solutions for Broadcom MAINFRAME offerings by assisting sales with customer and partner needs.
•Architect and deliver solutions, including presentation/demonstration, installation, configuration, deployment, and proof of concept activities.
•Provide technical specifications and requirements documentation, and ensure solution requirements are clearly communicated and understood by the client.
•Lead complex product integration demos and proofs of concept, including trials/POCs, with technical oversight as needed.
•Coordinate internal/external resources and collaborate in virtual teams to drive measurable customer outcomes and meet financial targets.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•Serve as a SME with deep IBM Mainframe expertise in one of the listed domains (storage management, AIOps/Auto Domain, or workload/performance management).
•Have strong knowledge of relevant tools such as CA-Vantage/CA-Disk/DFHSM/DFSMS/CA-1 FS/IBM RMM/BMC Control-T or IBM WLM/System Automation/Omegamon/CA-Sysview/CA OPS/MVS/CA Netmaster or Broadcom Workload Solutions/Tivoli Workload Solutions/BMC Control-M.
•Speak a European language and hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (or global equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.
•Typically 10+ years of detailed mainframe technical industry experience, including experience working with customers and sales/customer services.
•Resolve complex technical issues and integrate multiple products into solutions using broad real-world experience and IT certifications.
