Key Responsibilities

  • •Trade gas daily, monthly, and on term to optimize the Texas Intrastate system and capture locational and time spreads.
  • •Use fundamental analysis to set transportation and storage hedge levels to maximize revenue.
  • •Build effective internal and external relationships to support pipeline operations and new marketing opportunities.
  • •Monitor market conditions, developments, and competitor strategies; evaluate and share market intelligence with management.
  • •Participate in business planning (earnings, forecasts, gross margin budget), maintain spreadsheets/reporting, and help develop team and personnel planning for system growth.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or Engineering preferred (significant experience in lieu of degree may be considered).
  • •7-10 years of progressively responsible industry experience, including managing term physical and financial positions around natural gas transportation and storage.
  • •Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills.
  • •Proven ability to establish and maintain customer relationships.
  • •Desired: Texas Intrastate knowledge and experience in customer service, marketing, project coordination, and business development.
