Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently manage complex end-to-end employee exits across international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and a superior offboarding experience.
  • •Provide first-level employee relations support by assessing workplace concerns, guiding clients through progressive discipline approaches, and handling documentation requirements.
  • •Lead and facilitate termination-related meetings (e.g., workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings) and guide separations through negotiations and settlements.
  • •Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (e.g., payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, trade unions) and draft, tailor, and administer termination documents with privacy/confidentiality.
  • •Process offboarding in Remote’s internal HRIS, resolve offboarding and employee-relations queries, and drive process improvements via automation and AI.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies across the employee lifecycle.
  • •Proven ability to independently manage voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance across jurisdictions.
  • •Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
  • •Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills, including leading difficult conversations professionally and confidentially.
  • •Advanced written and spoken English proficiency; plus experience/knowledge around HR automation and AI capabilities.
