Job Summary

Lead power integrity (PI) definition and implementation for board-level designs supporting next-generation high-speed network adapter cards. You’ll own power delivery network (PDN) architecture, run frequency/time-domain PI simulations and co-simulations, and create board PI guidelines for layout teams. Collaborate with power supply vendors, use advanced EM tools for interconnect modeling, and perform lab correlation using VNA/TDR and oscilloscopes to drive validation through production release.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead PI definition and implementation for board-level designs from concept through validation, qualification, and release to production.
•Define power core architecture and requirements; serve as technical lead for power-related performance and debug activities.
•Own PDN design for complex network adapter boards, including rail partitioning, decoupling strategy, VR selection, and dynamic load support.
•Perform system-level power integrity simulations (frequency and time domain) and co-simulations of circuits and PDN models to predict noise.
•Create and maintain board PI design guidelines and perform lab characterization/correlation using VNA, TDR, and high-bandwidth oscilloscopes.

Key Requirements

•B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
•5+ years of industry experience in signal and/or power integrity for high-speed board or system designs.
•Strong understanding of electromagnetics, transmission line theory, and PDN behavior.
•Expert-level proficiency with EM/PI tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS/Q3D/SIwave, CST) and SPICE-based time-domain simulations.
•Hands-on lab experience using VNA, TDR, and oscilloscopes for PI/SI validation and model correlation.
